Check with your insurance provider to see what out-of-network mental health benefits you have. If you find that you have out-of-network benefits, I ask that you pay my full fee at the time of our sessions; I will then provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Per the “No Surprises Act” enforced beginning January 2022, if I am not paneled with your insurance and you are paying “out of network” and “out of pocket,” I am required to provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” of services prior to our first official session.

You can check on your insurance company’s out-of-network provider terms by asking the following questions:

Does my policy have mental health benefits?

What is my deductible and has it been met?

How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?

How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?

What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

Is approval required from my primary care physician?
